This month during Black History Month, we commit to raising $4500 from forty-five (45) socially conscious residents, small business owners and organizations who choose to donate $100 each to help “pay for Edison’s proposed Legacy Wall.

The Edison Legacy Wall will be the second community-funded installation in Hillsborough County. The first was created and ceremoniously installed at Booker T Washington last school year, April 2018 by its creator local legacy writer and small business owner Ersula Odom McClemore, Sula, Too, LLC.

Legacy Writer Ersula McClemore Odom shows first African American and former School Board Member Doris Ross Reddick her image and history on Booker T Washington Elementary School's Legacy Wall  installed April 2018. Legend Civil Rights Activist James A. Hammond, represented on the wall, looks on.
